Yorkshire Water has awarded a contract for full-scale phosphorus removal trials at Bolsover sewage treatment treatment works to Bluewater Bio using its high rate filter technology FilterClear.
The site serves a population equivalent of 10,000, with FilterClear being utilised for 100% of the flow. The contract, scheduled for delivery on 6th November, is part of a wider initiative with participants across the ten major water and sewerage companies, managed by UK Water Industry Research Ltd. The trial is scheduled to last for a 12 month period and is due for completion in December 2016. Read Full Article
