Technology Overview
Bluewater's core proprietary technology, called HYBACS, uses naturally occurring bacteria to produce a very high quality, odourless and re-usable water resource by removing harmful nitrates, phosphates and carbonaceous matter from a wide variety of domestic, agricultural and industrial effluents. HYBACS is particularly well suited to upgrading existing activated sludge plants for improved performance or to accept increased pollution loads. The unique aeration mechanism within our SMART Units enables HYBACS to achieve improved performance at a reduced power consumption.
